Dr. Jorge E. Isaza, MD
Orthopedic Spine Surgeon
Dr. Jorge Isaza is a highly respected board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with over 25 years of experience in advancing spine care technology. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad del Valle in Colombia before moving to the United States, where he completed specialized training in orthopedic surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Isaza further honed his expertise with a fellowship in spine surgery at Tulane and an additional fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.

Dr. Isaza has been at the forefront of spine surgery innovation, serving as a lead investigator with the FDA to develop and implement surgical protocols for spinal instrumentation devices. He is also among the first spine surgeons in the U.S. to perform endoscopic spinal procedures, bringing minimally invasive options to patients seeking effective pain relief with shorter recovery times. Extensively published and recognized internationally, Dr. Isaza is a trusted expert whose dedication to advancing spine care is evident in every aspect of his work.
Clint Costanza, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Clint Costanza brings over a decade of orthopedic surgical experience to our team. A graduate of Nicholls State University with a degree in biology, he went on to obtain his master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from South College in Knoxville. Known for his compassionate approach, Mr. Costanza has worked closely with Dr. Isaza for more than five years, specializing in spine surgery. His dedication to patient care and his commitment to ensuring a positive experience have made him an invaluable asset to our practice. Patients appreciate his thorough approach and his ability to make complex medical information accessible.
Sebastian Florez, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Sebastian Florez joined our team after completing his Physician Assistant studies at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Prior to that, he gained in-depth knowledge of spine care while working as Dr. Isaza’s medical scribe for over three years. A graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in biology, Mr. Florez is known for his positive attitude, empathy, and bilingual ability (English and Spanish), which allows him to provide culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient base. His patient-first mentality aligns perfectly with our practice’s mission, and we’re thrilled to have him back as part of our family.
